Anti-microbial decor material for membrane keypads and decor foils

BOPLA is well-known throughout the enclosure industry as a company which constantly looks to the future. In addition to the manufacture of standard or customer-specific series of enclosures, for more than ten years we have also offered the design, production and assembly of membrane keypads and decor foils.

As well as Profiling technology, one of BOPLA's special products, we now offer a new and exclusive product called Autotex AM, which is an anti-microbial decor material for membrane keypads and decor foils. Autotex AM protects against numerous strains of bacteria, e.g. MRSA, salmonella spp, etc. The hard-coated polyester foil incorporates "Microban” for built-in anti-microbial protection. If bacteria come into contact with Microban, its anti-microbial function splits the cell walls of the bacteria, so preventing their growth and reproduction.

Anti-microbial membrane keypads and decor foils are primarily used in areas where there is a danger of infection, such as hospitals, doctors practices, supermarkets, canteens, buildings which are open to the public, and public transport.

The manufacturer of the foil guarantees correct function during the entire lifetime of the product. Autotex AM is available in thickness 150µ and 200µ. Autotex AM does not lead to any restrictions in design - the foils can be designed to meet customers` individual wishes.

CombiNorm-Control

With CombiNorm-Control, BOPLA has developed a control enclosure which is designed to hold two-pole PCB connection terminals. Its special features include its compactness and versatility. The enclosure is manufactured as standard in polycarbonate, colour light grey, similar to RAL 7035.

CombiNorm-Control is available in three widths. Depending on the type, it can hold up to 16 two-pole terminals. Unused terminal locations can be closed by means of covers. Accessories include light guides and adjustment axes for coding switches.

BOCARD

The design-orientated BOCARD control enclosure is especially suitable for use in measurement, control, automatic control and domestic electrical installation systems. Depending on the customer's requirements, the enclosure, which is available in three sizes, can be supplied with a clear lid, a membrane lid or an open front frame. Rear lids of differing heights ensure a wide range of models to satisfy every electronics-related application. The variable enclosure construction permits ingress protection up to IP 65. All enclosure parts can be individually adapted, according to the customer's needs. Further details will soon be available in our on-line catalogue.

BOS-Ecoline

The BOS-Ecoline enclosure system represents the development of an aluminium profile enclosure which can be used for a wide range of applications in the field of electronics.

The enclosure profiles are available as standard in four different cross-section formats, in designs which are closed, open on one side, or divided horizontally, and in each case in three standard lengths. All profiles are equipped with guide grooves for the insertion of PCBs. Two ABS lid types, with or without wall brackets, are available to close the profiles.

BOS-Ecoline

The lids and profiles are fitted with recessed areas to hold front membranes or membrane keypads. Ingress protection IP 40 can be increased to IP 54 by the use of additional seals in the lid.

With BOS-Ecoline Desktop, the latest addition to our product range, BOPLA is introducing new applications for BOS-Ecoline enclosures. Individual fronts can be supplied for all sizes in the BOS-Ecoline range, and they make it possible to use the enclosure as a desk-top model. The angle of the front can be selected according to individual requirements.

Of course, BOS-Ecoline enclosures with an angled front can be combined with BOPLA membrane keypads and individual electronics. Bovista Compact Bovista

Now, with the addition of the new Bovista Compact base 2, the Bovista enclosure system is available in three basic sizes.

Bovista has been specially developed for use in building automation systems, but its design and construction, combined with the wide range of lids and bases which are available, ensure that it can also be used for many other applications which involve electronics.

Depending on the specific requirements, the user can choose between an enclosure base with or without ventilation.

Bovista can be supplied in the following basic sizes:
120 mm x 80 mm x 36 mm,
200 mm x 120 mm x 36 mm and
270 mm x 162 mm x 50 mm

Up to sixteen different lids, varying in size, shape and colour, can be supplied to fit onto the bases, depending on the basic size. In addition to a smooth design, the customer can choose between lids with a membrane keypad surface, a design front or a hinged lid. The lids are supplied in light grey (similar to RAL 7035) and pure white (similar to RAL 9010), the bases in agate grey (similar to RAL 7038) and pure white. The lids are easily snapped onto the bases.

All enclosure parts can be adapted to meet the customer's individual needs, for example surface printing, mechanical processing (e,g, for display cut-outs) . The design, manufacturing and assembly of membrane keypads are also part of the BOPLA service.
